The department trains scientific personnel - graduate and doctoral students in the specialties "173. Avionics" and "151. Automation and computer-integrated technologies". The educational process is carried out in Ukrainian and English. Experienced teaching staff is involved in the educational process.

The educational and scientific base of the department is 11 educational laboratories, in which students receive educational and professional competencies in the field of computer control systems, avionics and intelligent transport systems. Students of the department take part in international scientific conferences, internships (including foreign ones), undergo internships at modern enterprises, take an active part in student life.
